One of the students, Oscar, is now welding for H of N. H of N offered a free welding school and 15 students attended.  We had a visiting professional welder that came out and taught for 3 weeks.   The teacher also provided all the welding gear for each student.  Welding is a much needed profession in Tanzania.  At the end of the session each student was tested on skills and book knowledge.  11 of the students passed with a 70% or better and now can find work welding.

If you would like to come out  and teach welding or any other trade school please contact Hope of the Nations through this website.  Mechanic training and plumbing are 2 other much needed trades that would help the people in Kigoma be able to start businesses.

Or you can donate funds to help in providing supplies for micro businesses.
