Many of the women have asked for birth controll methods. At this seminar we taught them the rhythm method. Most women have 7+ children with no way to feed them. They were very interested in learning about how God made their bodies and that they can choose to not get pregnant.
This mama had lost many children at birth or soon after. She has given birth to 6 children but only 3 have lived. Holly, one of our guest nurses, taught them how to nurse their children right away. Now many babies are surving! Here, this baby is growing healthy and strong. Traditionally mamas would not nurse until 3 days after their babies were born.
